Description
Winchester Equipment Co. is hiring a CDL Class A Equipment Delivery Driver to haul compact construction, agricultural, and material handling equipment to customer locations and jobsites using flatbeds and rollbacks. The right fit is safety-minded, professional with customers, and confident with load securement (chains/binders) and DOT compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport equipment to customer sites and branch locations
- Load/unload equipment and complete proper securement (chains, binders, straps as needed)
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and branch teams
- Follow DOT and company safety policies at all times
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A with acceptable driving record
- Experience with flatbed/rollback or similar equipment transport
- Comfortable with load securement and jobsite delivery conditions
- Ability to pass DOT physical and required screenings
- Strong communication and customer service mindset
Preferred
- Prior heavy equipment hauling (construction/ag)
- Familiarity with local/regional routes in VA/WV/MD area (as applicable)
